[INSTRUCTION]
The following steps are the instructions how to upgrade your product.
Step1.
Download the file from the download link above. The compressed ZIP file contains
total 8 files inside. Please unzip the file then you will see App.tgz, rc.user,
usb-boot, cfe.bin, dst.bmp, update.img, update.md5, update.tgz.
Copy them to the root folder of a USB memory stick.
Step2.
Insert the USB memory stick to the rear USB input of the product. Then plug in the
mains power. The upgrade will start automatically. "Finished" message will
appear when the upgrade is finished.
Please be sure not to unplug the mains power until the upgrade is finished.
Step3.
Remove the USB memory stick from the product. Unplug then plug in the mains
power to make the product to reboot.
Please erase all upgrade files from the memory stick not to cause unexpected
upgrade to happen in the future.
Warning) Please DO NOT turn the power off during upgrade process and remove USB
memory when upgrading is complete then turn off the main switch and back on again.
Please bear in mind that all previous user settings, schedules and channel lists will be lost after this upgrade.
The product will start from "Installation Wizard".
Please find following steps for upgrading DHR
1. With DHR ON
Plug in USB to Upper-Rear USB - Check recognized by DHR then press OK.
2. Power - OFF on Rear (wait about 20 seconds)
3. Power ON on Rear
Front Panel will display following messages in sequence
Loading - Splash - Loading . . . . . . . . . . Updating - 30% - 50% - 70%
- micom update - FINISHED
4. Power OFF when complete then remove USB
5. Power ON on Rear then DHR will automatically start searching channels
When searching is finished Go to SAVE then press OK then press exit.
